12 YEARS OF KILLING IS ENOUGH!
ACTION ITEM - Write City of Palo Alto Mayor and your Congressperson
Congressperson Anna Eshoo has the power to encourage the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to adhere to a comprehensive, humane program. And Palo Alto Mayor Dena Mossar has the power to encourage that a comprehensive, humane program be implemented in the Palo Alto Baylands.
Anna Eshoo represents citizens living in all cities located from south of San Francisco to Santa Cruz. If you have friends and family living in that area ask them to send an email. SVAR cannot protect the Baylands animals without your help - shooting animals is inhumane and shameful.
Over a hundred people have already notified elected officials. Please take 5 minutes from your day to send an email to Palo Alto Mayor Dena Mossar and U.S. Congressperson Anna Eshoo. Knowing your time is valuable suggested text is provided below or in the alternative, your email only needs to be a few sentences. Please encourage others to email too.

Dear Congressperson Eshoo and Mayor Mossar:
Please put a stop to the senseless killing of animals in the Palo Alto Baylands. I am in support of the U.S. Government's mission to protect endangered birds, but I would never support the killing of other animals that make their home in the Baylands. Please do the right thing and work with animal welfare organizations and the community to develop a comprehensive, humane program that does not involve killing animals.
Please do everything in your position and power to make sure innocent animals are NOT KILLED.
